Growing up around the world, Damilola's fascination with technology sparked at a young age. This curiosity led her to pursue a degree in Information Resources Management, followed by a Master's in Education, Economics, and International Development from University College London.
With 5 years of experience in the development sector as a Program Manager, Damilola saw how technology could bridge gaps and empower communities, particularly women and girls. Her mission became clear: to make tech accessible and inclusive. As a Training Consultant for leading brands like Intel, Multichoice etc, she honed her skills in digital transformation.

Damilola's professional journey at Sprout Digital began as a Web Developer, where she progressed to IT Project Manager, delivering quality software and web solutions that drove client satisfaction. She successfully championed complex IT projects for top-tier clients, improved team productivity.

She's passionate about empowering girls and women, providing them with opportunities to thrive in the digital economy. Damilola Anwo-Ade, founded CodeIT with a vision to empower young Africa children through technology. As a passionate advocate for STEM education, Damilola recognized the need for accessible and quality IT training in Nigeria and that young children had the capacity to learn and innovate solutions that will change the Africa continent for good.
Raising African youngest developers – Through CodeIT, Damilola has made a significant impact in the lives of young Nigerians, particularly girls and women. The program has:
